Chris Hutter

Chairman of the Board and CEO

Chris Hutter is the Chairman of the Board and CEO. Prior, he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of PowerSecure International, Inc., an energy products and services company serving utilities and large industrial and commercial customers. PowerSecure was an NYSE-listed company until 2016, when it was purchased by Southern Company, one of the largest utilities in North America. PowerSecure delivered industry-leading growth and served customers with distributed generation, energy storage, microgrids, energy efficiency, and utility infrastructure. Prior to serving as PowerSecure’s COO, he was the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining PowerSecure in 2007, he was employed in various management positions with ADVO, Inc., a NYSE‐listed marketing services company, which was acquired by Valassis Communications, Inc. Early in his career, Chris worked at the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche.

Chris has an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and a B.S. in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University.

Scott Ungerer

Founder & Managing Director, EnerTech Capital

Scott Ungerer, a pioneer in energy technology investing, founded EnerTech Capital in 1996. Prior to founding EnerTech, he held several positions at the New Jersey-based energy holding company, Atlantic Energy, ultimately rising to President. He’s currently a member of the Board of Directors of Power Survey, GeoDigital International, N-Dimension Solutions, Tangent Energy Solutions, Enbala Power Networks, and NanoSteel Company. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for E-Source. Prior portfolio company experience include the initial public offerings for Capstone Turbine (NASDAQ: CPST), Pac-West Telecomm (NASDAQ: PACW), VerticalNet (NASDAQ: VERT), Catalytic Solutions (London: CTSU), Intellon (NASDAQ: ITLN), Clean Air Power (London: CAP.L) and Comverge (NASDAQ: COMV). Ungerer was also involved with the acquisitions of CoaLogix,, Coastal Security Systems, Intellon, and Extant. His focus is on power technologies including smart grid and energy efficiency, natural gas distribution, and transportation technologies.

Scott received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Princeton University.

Mélanie Kfoury, M.Sc., IAS.A

Founder and President, Melka Consulting

Mélanie Kfoury is a skilled executive with 20 years of experience in professional services, growth strategy design, and corporate development. Prior to founding Melka Consulting, Mélanie was a partner at KPMG, and a partner at the SECOR Group, a private strategy firm, which was acquired by KPMG. She started her career in technology at Accenture. She is a regular guest speaker at executive forums and has been published in Première en Affaires Magazine.

Mélanie completed the Director Education Program from McGill University Rotman School of Management. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Master of Science in Administration from HEC Montreal, where she focused on math modeling, data analytics, business strategy, and marketing. She also studied international business at IECS Strasbourg, in France. She holds a DEC in Pure and Applied Sciences from College Andre Grasset.

Mike Edmonds

President US Business, S&C Electric Company

Mike Edmonds is the President of the US Business of S&C Electric Company. He is responsible for all aspects of the business go-to market strategy ranging from traditional switching and protection, grid reliability, power quality, energy storage, micro grids, asset management, grid network control, software and the grid connectivity systems. Mike’s previous roles at S&C include VP Strategic Solutions, and Global Director Smart Grid covering strategy, Product Management and Marketing. Prior to joining the S&C Electric Company in 2010, he was a VP at Siemens Energy, and General Manager at Power Technologies Inc (PTI).

Edmonds received his B.S. in Electrical Power Engineering from Cardiff University.

Sylvain Lanoue

Private Investor

Sylvain Lanoue has over 25 years of engineering experience working at Hydro-Québec and ABB. He was the Owner and Co-President of Power Survey International until its sale in 2016 to EnerTech Capital and Investment Quebec.

Sylvain’s career spans engineering, R&D, sales, marketing, production, and business management in the electrical market, specifically in energy efficiency and power quality for the industrial, commercial and utility sector.

Lanoue received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering at the École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), and is member of the ‘’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec / Quebec engineer association’’ (OIQ) since 1991.

Amit Srivastava

Senior Partner

Amit Srivastava is Senior Partner at Cycle Capital. He has more than 30 years in operational, venture capital, cross-border transactions, and fund management in high tech companies. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Entrepia Ventures. Prior, he worked at JP Morgan Chase, including at JP Morgan Partners (formerly Chase Capital Partners), where his responsibilities included leading venture capital investments in the electronics sector, oversight of private equity investments in India, and serving as the Portfolio Manager of a private equity portfolio of over 700 investments in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia, with an aggregate carried value exceeding USD $10 billion. Before JP Morgan Chase, Amit was a Principal at Mercer Management Consulting, where he advised major global IT and communications companies on strategy, business development and operational effectiveness. Earlier in his career, he held marketing and engineering management positions at Texas Instruments.

Amit holds a B.S.E.E from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, a M.E. from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
